On Friday, 18th October, the Center for Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation (CCCAM) – University of Embu co-organized a transformative Climate Justice Debate at the University of Embu. This dynamic event united students from diverse backgrounds and schools to engage in critical discussions on pressing climate issues, with motions covering topics such as greenwashing, climate refugees, climate justice, and international law. ⚖️🌱

The debate underscored the pivotal role that youth play in the fight against climate change, and the urgent need to empower the next generation of climate leaders. 🌿👩‍🎓👨‍🎓 These discussions were not only thought-provoking but also essential in driving real-world solutions to one of the greatest challenges of our time.
